The dashboard method to organize and implement weekly meetings was initially adapted by Buffalo Drilling Company, Inc. during the Fall, 2008. Prior to this time, the randomly scheduled project meetings were somewhat disjointed and primarily focused on jobs-in-progress. There was little or no time afforded marketing, staff development, and long term planning.
After two years of dedicated weekly meetings, the core managers have completely accepted the need and benefits of organized discussions and extended planning. These meetings also provide a platform to review long term employment requirements, completed projects and testimonials, potential future work, business development, and diversification of services. All managers have continuously voiced approval of these meetings, even though time, as always, is limited and efforts towards current projects demanding.
In closing, I can endorse the process as greatly beneficial to Buffalo Drilling Company, Inc. and note a continued commitment for many years to come.
